GoHighLevel Pricing in 2026: Plans, Usage Costs and What You Actually Pay

By Ciaran Wentz7 min read

GoHighLevel costs $97, $297 or $497 a month, or $970, $2,970 or $4,970 a year, with unlimited users and contacts on every plan. On top of the plan you pay for usage: phone numbers, texts, calls, email and some AI features, plus carrier registration fees if you text. A small local business on Starter should budget for both.

The figures below come from HighLevel's own pricing page and help center, checked on September 17, 2026. HighLevel changes its prices, so confirm them in your account before you buy.

What are the GoHighLevel plans?

From gohighlevel.com/pricing:

•

Starter: $97 a month, or $970 a year. Three sub-accounts. HighLevel describes it as built for smaller businesses and solo marketers.

•

Unlimited: $297 a month, or $2,970 a year. Unlimited sub-accounts.

•

Agency Pro: $497 a month, or $4,970 a year. Adds SaaS mode, which lets an agency sell HighLevel as its own software.

•

Enterprise: no published price. You speak with HighLevel's enterprise team.

Every plan lists unlimited contacts, unlimited users, 24/7 support and all core features. A sub-account is a separate workspace for one business or location. HighLevel's own FAQ says Starter suits a single business owner or a new agency.

What does each plan include?

The core features listed for all plans include the CRM and pipelines, website and funnel builder, email and SMS marketing, calling, a unified inbox, workflow automation, booking calendars, reputation management, payments and AI tools such as Conversation AI and Voice AI. The page marks the AI, email, SMS and calling features with an asterisk: usage charges apply.

What changes as you move up:

•

Unlimited adds: unlimited sub-accounts, basic API access, and rebilling of phone and email usage to clients with no markup.

•

Agency Pro adds: SaaS mode, automated sub-account creation, rebilling with a markup, user and agent reporting, and advanced API access.

•

Enterprise adds: a dedicated customer success manager and account manager, premium support, quarterly business reviews, and the white label mobile app and HIPAA compliance included.

For one business, most of these upgrades serve agencies. The exception is API access, which starts on Unlimited, so check whether an integration you need depends on it.

The same page lists optional add-ons, including:

•

HIPAA compliance: $297 a month.

•

Dedicated email IP: $59 a month per IP.

•

SEO powered by Search Atlas: $79 a month per sub-account.

•

Online listings management: $30 a month per sub-account.

What costs sit on top of the plan?

Usage is paid from a prepaid wallet. HighLevel's pricing guide explains that it charges your card to load credit, deducts usage from that balance, and recharges automatically when the balance drops below your minimum.

US rates from HighLevel's Phone System pricing guide, which says its pricing matches Twilio's:

•

Phone numbers: $1.15 a month for a local number, $2.15 a month for toll-free.

•

SMS: $0.00747 per segment, charged on inbound and outbound texts. A long message splits into several segments.

•

SMS carrier fees: charged per segment on top of the SMS rate. HighLevel's table lists outbound fees from $0.0035 (AT&T) to $0.0050 (US Cellular).

•

MMS: $0.0220 per outbound segment.

•

Outbound calls: $0.0166 a minute. Partial minutes round up.

•

Inbound calls: $0.01165 a minute when answered in the app, or $0.02 a minute when forwarded to another US number.

•

Conference charge: HighLevel starts a conference call for every outgoing call, listed at $0.0018 per participant per minute in the US.

•

Call recording: $0.0025 a minute, plus storage at $0.0005 a minute per month for as long as recordings are kept. Transcription is $0.024 a minute.

•

Email: $0.675 per 1,000 emails, per HighLevel's email pricing article. Email verification is $2.50 per 1,000 checks.

•

Premium workflow actions: $0.01 per execution, per the pricing guide.

HighLevel also applies a fixed 5% markup to certain pass-through charges, including A2P registration fees and SMS and MMS carrier fees.

What do the AI features cost?

The pricing guide sets out three options. A sub-account with no AI plan pays per use, billed at token cost for the models and actions used. The AI Employee Growth plan is $50 a month per sub-account with monthly limits. The AI Employee Unlimited plan, not to be confused with the $297 Unlimited subscription, is $97 a month per sub-account with unlimited Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Content AI, subject to fair use. Phone charges still apply to Voice AI calls. Per-use rates are listed in HighLevel's AI pricing article and in your billing settings.

What are the A2P 10DLC fees?

Texting from a local number requires A2P 10DLC registration. The Phone System pricing guide lists:

•

Sole proprietor: up to $2.10 a month per campaign, and up to $23.475 one-time, including a $3 fast track fee.

•

Low volume standard: $1.50 to $10.50 a month per campaign, and up to $23.475 one-time.

•

High volume standard: $10.50 a month per campaign, and $68.625 one-time.

Both fees start when you submit, whatever the review outcome. Since February 1, 2026, resubmissions are free, replacing a $15 fee. HighLevel's separate A2P registration article lists different figures, such as a $4.41 brand fee plus a $16.54 campaign fee, so check the current rate in your billing settings before you budget. Our A2P 10DLC registration guide covers how to get approved the first time.

Is annual billing cheaper than monthly?

Yes. Twelve monthly payments on each plan cost $1,164, $3,564 and $5,964. The annual prices of $970, $2,970 and $4,970 save $194, $594 and $994, which is roughly two months free. Annual billing covers the plan only. Usage is still charged as it happens.

Monthly billing keeps you flexible. HighLevel's FAQ says there is no long-term contract, you can cancel at any time, and a mid-month upgrade is charged at the prorated difference.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The pricing page offers a 14-day free trial on any plan, with full access to that plan's features. The page also says billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel, and that usage fees for telecommunications or third-party services may apply during the trial. Test texts and calls cost money, and A2P fees start on submission, trial or not.

Should you run HighLevel yourself or hire an agency?

The plan fee is rarely the largest cost. Setup is. Pipelines, forms, calendars, workflows, templates and A2P registration all need building, and someone has to own them after launch. HighLevel itself sells an Advanced Account Setup service for $1,000 and premium support for $500 a month, according to its pricing guide.

Run it yourself if someone on your team has time to learn the platform. Hire help if nobody owns it, or a half-built account is already costing you leads.

We build client systems on HighLevel. See our GoHighLevel agency services. A single system, such as lead follow-up over email and SMS, is Foundation at $997 a month. CRM build or cleanup, pipeline design, tagging and automation are part of Growth Engine at $4,997 a month. The HighLevel subscription stays licensed in your name, so you keep the account. See pricing for what each tier covers, and our HighLevel vs HubSpot comparison if you are still choosing a platform.

How do you estimate your real monthly cost?

Here is a worked example. The assumptions are hypothetical, not client data:

•

Starter plan, billed monthly, one sub-account

•

One local number

•

1,500 outbound and 500 inbound SMS segments a month, all on T-Mobile for simplicity

•

300 outbound call minutes with two participants, and 400 inbound minutes answered in the app

•

5,000 emails

•

One low volume standard A2P campaign, at the top of the listed monthly range

•

No AI plan, no call recording, no add-ons

The calculation, using the rates above:

•

Plan: $97.00

•

Local number: $1.15

•

SMS: 2,000 segments at $0.00747, $14.94

•

Carrier fees: 1,500 at $0.0045 plus 500 at $0.0025 is $8.00, plus the 5% markup, $8.40

•

Outbound calls: 300 minutes at $0.0166, $4.98

•

Conference charge: 300 minutes at $0.0018 for two participants, $1.08

•

Inbound calls: 400 minutes at $0.01165, $4.66

•

Email: 5,000 at $0.675 per 1,000, $3.38

•

A2P campaign fee: $10.50

That comes to about $146 a month, with about $49 of it usage, plus up to $23.48 one-time in the first month for registration. The example uses the listed A2P figure without adding the 5% markup.

The lines that move most are text volume, message length, call minutes, call recording and any AI plan, which adds $50 or $97 per sub-account.
