What Is A2P 10DLC Registration?
A2P 10DLC registration verifies your business as a brand and each texting use case as a campaign, so carriers accept texts sent from software over a local number. It suits businesses whose texts are blocked or rejected. Voreli AI includes registration in an SMS system on Foundation at $997 per month; standalone registration is scoped on a call.

A2P 10DLC is the registration system U.S. mobile carriers use to verify businesses that text from ordinary ten-digit numbers. If your CRM, booking tool or AI assistant sends texts from a local number, it applies to you, even at low volume. Unregistered traffic faces heavier filtering and extra carrier fees, so messages can fail without any error you would notice.
Registration has two parts. The brand is who you are: legal business name, tax ID, address, website and contact details, which must match existing records. The campaign is what you send: the use case, a description, sample messages, how people opt in, how they opt out and how they get help. One brand can hold several campaigns, and appointment reminders and marketing offers are normally registered separately. Your texting provider submits both to The Campaign Registry on your behalf.
A person reviews your website during campaign review, and most rejections we see start there. Before we submit anything, we check that the site shows the legal business name matching the registration, a physical address, and a phone number and email on your own domain. The opt-in form needs its own text message consent box, unchecked by default and not required to submit the form, with the disclosure directly beside it: business name, message types, frequency, "message and data rates may apply", how to opt out and how to get help, with links to your privacy policy and terms. The privacy policy needs a clear statement that mobile information is not shared or sold, and the terms need to describe the text program.
Then we write the campaign description and sample messages to match what you will actually send, with the business name in at least one sample and no public link shorteners. If a campaign is rejected, we edit and resubmit it rather than starting over.
Plan for weeks, not days. HighLevel's support documentation puts number registration at four to six weeks, and timelines vary by provider and by how clean the submission is. Registration is also not consent: it does not give you permission to text a list. We flag the legal risk, and we are not your lawyer.
