Who AI search recommends for AI automation in Miami
We asked ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude 18 questions a Miami small business would ask about hiring an AI automation agency, once each, on October 30, 2026. 72 answers, every number counted from the stored responses. It is one run on one day, so read it as a snapshot, not a ranking of Miami agencies.
Key findings
Digismart was named most often
Digismart appeared in 13 of the 72 answers, across 9 of the 18 questions. ChatGPT named it in 0 answers, Perplexity in 2, Gemini in 7 and Claude in 4.
The engines rarely agreed
Of the 14 most named firms, none was named by all four engines. CAB360 appeared in 8 answers, all of them from Gemini. AZL Marketing appeared in 6 answers, all of them from Gemini. Ideas Realized appeared in 5 answers, all of them from Gemini.
Problem questions got fewer firm names
When a question asked for a vendor, 28 of 40 answers (70%) named at least one of the most named firms. When it described a problem, such as missed calls or slow follow-up, 14 of 28 (50%) did. Many of the others described the kind of help to look for, or named firms that came up too rarely to make the list.
Company websites were the main sources
6 of the 10 most linked domains were company websites. The most linked domain was aisuperior.com, a list article, in 14 answers. The answers linked 230 distinct domains in all.
How often directories showed up
22 answers linked at least one directory such as Clutch, DesignRush or Sortlist, and 9 linked Clutch. Directories were 10% of all linked domains: 18% for ChatGPT, 3% for Gemini.
Voreli AI was not named
We ran this scan with our own tool, Cited, tracking Voreli AI as the brand. No answer named or linked Voreli AI, which is what we expected: we have no office or clients in Miami, and we work with businesses there remotely from St. Petersburg.
Who the engines named in Miami
Firms are listed only as the AI answers named them. Being on this list, or missing from it, says nothing about the quality of anyone's work.

What Miami businesses can do about it
Nobody controls what an assistant says. These steps follow from what the answers in this scan read and linked.
- 1
Ask the problem, not just the category
Buyers do not always ask for "the best AI agency in Miami". In this scan, problem questions named a local firm far less often than vendor questions. Ask each engine the problem your customers have, in their words, and see who comes up.
- 2
Give each city you serve a page that answers the question
Company websites were the most linked sources. AutomateNexus was linked in 7 answers, most often through its page at automatenexus.com/locations/florida/miami. A page that says what you do in Miami, for whom and at what price gives an engine something specific to quote. It only helps if it is true: do not claim an office you do not have.
- 3
Be listed where these answers looked
The directories linked in Miami answers were clutch.co (9), sortlist.com (6), designrush.com (5) and revenuebase.ai (5), counted by answers. Claim the profile, match your name, address and phone to your Google profile, and earn reviews there.
- 4
Know which list articles the engines read
In Miami, list articles were among the most linked sources: aisuperior.com (14 answers), alliedstack.com (8 answers), impetus.host (3 answers) and webtonic.io (3 answers). Those pages are written by people, and it is worth knowing who wrote them and what they asked of the firms they included.
- 5
Check every engine separately
5 of the 14 most named firms were named by only one engine. Being named by ChatGPT says little about Gemini or Claude, so check each one.
- 6
Measure it on a schedule
This is one run of each question on one day. Track the share of answers that name you over weeks, not a single screenshot. Our tool Cited runs this check across the engines, or you can do it by hand with a spreadsheet.
If you want this measured and worked on for you, that is our generative engine optimization service, which we deliver to Miami businesses remotely. See how we work with Miami businesses. If you would rather check it yourself, run a scan on Cited.
Methodology
The scan ran on October 30, 2026 between 2:42 AM and 2:45 AM Eastern, through Cited, the AI visibility tool we built. Each engine got each question once, as a separate request with no conversation history, with web search on. The scan cost $1.51 in API fees.
Engines
- ChatGPT: gpt-5.4-mini-2026-03-17. It ran 74 web searches of its own across the 18 questions.
- Perplexity: sonar-pro. Its API does not report the searches it ran.
- Gemini: gemini-3.6-flash. It ran 33 web searches of its own across the 18 questions.
- Claude: claude-haiku-4-5-20251001. It ran 17 web searches of its own across the 18 questions.

Sample size and limits
- One run per engine per question, 72 answers in all, on one day. AI answers change from run to run, so a second run would name some different firms.
- Cited generated the 18 questions for the category "AI automation agency for small businesses" in Miami, FL, mixing vendor, problem, cost and alternative questions. Real buyers phrase things in many more ways.
- A firm counts as named when its name appears in the answer text. We counted every firm that appeared repeatedly; firms named only once or twice are not in the charts.
- Directories are listing and review sites such as Clutch, DesignRush, Sortlist, The Manifest and GoodFirms. List articles are pages ranking several firms. Everything else in the top 10 was a company's own website.
- Gemini returns its sources as Google redirect links. Cited resolves them to the destination domain before counting.
- Voreli AI sells AI automation, so it competes with the firms named here. We report what the answers said and do not rate anyone.
